Steve saw the potential to purchase surplus shipping containers from China — containers that are often not returned empty due to freight costs — and convert them into practical products such as smoking shelters, toilets, offices, and serving hatches.

Through Reecer Space, we embrace every opportunity to recycle and refurbish containers. This sustainable approach not only reduces waste but also generates less than 10% of the carbon emissions compared to newly manufactured buildings of the same size.
